BEMOTRIZINOL (Bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine)

is a UV filter used in our sunscreen products. It is able to absorb the full spectrum of both UVA and UVB rays. It has the advantage of being photostable, thus it is often formulated with less photostable UV blockers such as Avobenzone. These combined sunscreens are more stable, do not degrade or lose effectiveness on exposure to sunlight.
